Key Sustainable Actions

Management & Leadership

Adopt an Environmental Policy Statement

Buying second had items supports conscious consumption by reducing pollution and environmental waste.

Identify a Sustainability Leader / Create a Sustainability Team

Our founder, Lucille Casulli, opened the retail store in 1976. The store offers secondhand fashion and housewares at a much cheaper price than buying new from retail or online. We welcome all economic backgrounds and affiliations.

Develop an Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Plan

100% of our items in the store down to the pens & paper are 100% second hand donated by members of our community. We do not purchase any items that we sell and most items that we use to keep the store running are second hand from donations.

Waste

Waste Reuse Practices

100% of our items are second hand. Which supports conscious consumption by reducing pollution and environmental waste.

Support Community Initiatives

Selling second hand items indirectly help reduces the need for cheap labor for cheap fashion by supporting less fast-fashion and more of a circular economy.
