95% of our salon waste is reused, recycled, or repurposed in some amazing and sometimes even surprising ways, such as: – Oil boom sponges made from human hair used to clean oil spills – Haircolor waste burned for energy – Hair trimmings being used for construction additives – Even plastics made from human hair – Discontinuing the use of plastic straws
