Key Sustainable Actions

Management & Leadership

Adopt an Environmental Policy Statement

We “Honor our Environment. Lots of Small Steps = Big Impact. We are committed to taking many steps as we can to reduce our environmental impact.” With an ecological approach to the studio environment, we strive to create a living and breathing space that honors your body and spirit in which you practice. All our studios have eco-initiatives in place. See: www.honoryoga.com/about/

Provide Environmentally Preferable Products and Services

Honor Yoga features many eco-friendly products in our shops, including cork yoga blocks and eco-friendly yoga mats. Our shopping bags are reusable.

Waste

Waste Reduction Practices

Honor Yoga seeks to reduce its waste through a variety of initiatives. This includes discouraging the use of bottled water by providing mugs and glass bottles to students, along with offering filtered water where students can fill their own bottles. In addition, to reduce paper waste we use cloth towels in the bathrooms to eliminate paper towels and minimize the use of printed paper by using chalk boards in the studio and online tools to advertise our classes and workshop schedules. When we print, we do so on recycled materials whenever possible.
