At Copper River, we are committed to energy conservation, recycling, reusable items, and reduction of waste. When possible, we make earth-friendly choices that promote ecological harmony and foster sustainability. When available, we seek natural and Made In America products.
Provide Environmentally Preferable Products and Services
Marketing materials including business cards, announcers are on recycled paper products. Paper towels and toilet paper are made of 100% recycled content paper

Copper River Salon now participates in Terracycle's Zero Waste box program - see: https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/zero_waste_boxes/ The Terracycle Zero Waste Box program provides solutions for difficult-to-recycle waste that cannot be recycled through through regular municipal recycling programs. Copper River Salon uses Zero Waste Boxes to recycle coffee capsules, laminated paper packaging, personal care accessories and hair. In 2017 Copper River Salon recycled 55.45 lbs. of Coffee Capsules, 40.35 lbs. of Laminated Paper Packaging and 56.05 lbs. of Personal Care Accessories using the Zero Waste Box Program.
